Tierras
Terracotta Look
Tierras by Patricia Urquiola
Tierras come about from the Mediterranean artisanal tradition and focuses on the concept of sedimentation, in order to create a collection where the elements seems to come from earth, marked by the hand of a man and the time passing by.
It’s a re-interpretation of traditional craftmanship, where different kind of terracotta and clays, chromatically matching with each other, combine and mix, enriching and softening the black base of recycled ceramics on which they deposit.
